About the position:
The Senior Manager, Media and Communications manages reactive and proactive communications as part of the Communications, Engagement and Education branch. The Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring the service provides timely, accurate and high-calibre communications materials and marketing services across a range of projects and issues from NSW Parliament House events, history and heritage to education programs and initiatives, communicating the work and functions of the NSW Parliament across traditional, digital and social media. The role also ensures brand integrity for the NSW Parliament across a range of applications, services and channels.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.
