About the position:

The Parliamentary Librarian leads the overall operations of the Parliamentary Library, working closely with senior Parliamentary officers to support stakeholders across all areas of their responsibilities. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the Client Services, Collection & Digital Services, and Records & Archives teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that our library services reflect best practice in resource discovery, collection management, and client engagement—adapting to the latest developments in the library and information sector.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales.
