About the position:
The Member, Electorate Office Liaison and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for liaising with Members, staff in Electorate Offices and third-party organizations to promote and coordinate programs, events and initiatives to achieve strategic priorities of educating and engaging with schools and the broader community, with a particular focus on regional and rural communities.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. You are a highly organised and proactive professional with experience supporting public programs, ideally in an education, cultural, or civic setting. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders—including Members of Parliament and electorate officers—across metropolitan, regional and remote areas. With a strong attention to detail, you manage bookings, data, and logistics with accuracy and care. You are comfortable using tools like Excel, Power BI, and online booking platforms, and you use data to inform decision-making. Your excellent interpersonal skills, commitment to inclusive service, and ability to manage competing priorities make you well-suited to a dynamic role within the Parliament of New South Wales supporting the Education and Engagement team.
